Hello, I'm trying to figure out if this product is a UV light bulb or not. Because it does not say anywhere on the box that it is a UV bulb.
The product is a 25 watt "T bulb" Neodymium Reptile Daylight Heat Lamp.
I'm trying to find a UV light for my Red Eared Sliders.

What are the benefits of having a light kit with translucent umbrellas, black umbrellas and soft-boxes?

For glamour I use Strobes with fairly large softboxes. The idea is to get a highly diffused light source for an even field with no harsh shadows. I like softboxes Over umbrellas because an umbrella spreads the light out over a fairly wide area, softboxes still give you the ability to "aim" the light and be fairly specific, depending on the size of the box of course.

What is the difference between low key and high key photography?
It's about your subject matter and lighting. If your subject and background contain mostly or all things that are dark (or black), then you have low-key. Mostly white or very light colors makes it high-key. You need to adjust your lighting and camera settings so that it won't turn out middle-gray. For low key, you will need to go down a stop or two in lighting. For high-key, go up.

First, I'm not gay. Second I have no intention of becoming a balarina. I don't even know what kind of dance I want to learn. I'm thinking something adult and very casual. I don't want to go to a formal studio and stand out like a sore thumb. Is there a community center somewhere that might offer a class a couple of times a week? I'm a single guy too, it will just be me. This sounds really gay I'm sure.
First off, this doesn't sound gay. Secondly, go to your local community center or park district and ask for a catalog or a guide that has activities for you. Take it home and find a dance class that you would like to take and register for the class. Good LUCK!

Can I put higher watt lamps in my low voltage bathroom lighting?
I had six low voltage spot lights installed in my bathroom ceiling. The transformer sits in the loft. Each spot has a 20 watt bulb. I'd like it brighter. I saw 35w and 50 w lamps available, but would it be safe to install these?
NO and NO AGAIN It is rated for a certain wattage because that is the highest wattage that is SAFE.
You of course could put a higher wattage bulb in BUT then it will cause the transformer to either overheat or burn out. Overheated transformers CAN (not always but often enough) and DO cause fires that burn down houses.
What you might look into is getting a higher rated transformer, then you might be able to increase the wattage. However make sure the light sockets are also rated to take a higher wattage bulb.

Is there a slave flash sensor that can be attached to the front of the built-in flash to receive cam flash?
I'm looking for an external flash for my FZ18.
Is there a model that has a sensor attached on the build-in flash to be triggered when cam flash fires?

They are called "Slave flash". You can do your own research on them by searching for that term.
They don't have to attach anything to your camera, they have this little sensors on them that detects flashlight, and they'll fire as well when they detected that your camera fires off flash.
This also means that if someone beside you is taking a picuture with flash, your slave flash will go off as well.
I can't recommend a model since I don't have one myself, but if purely just look at the brand, I'd say get one form Metz, like this:

Every year I try to record the Christmas light displays in my neighborhood with my Digital Video camera, but every year my recordings don't come out very well. They either come out blurry or shaky or with too much contrast (in other words, you can see the lights but nothing else). Any tips? Thanks guys, you rock!
Well it sounds like youve been recording in auto. Give manual a try (if you have the functions) and adjust shutter Speed at its lowest to 1/15 (most cams go down to 1/60 in manual), and then tweak your aperture and gain to get a Good picture. Unfortunately, "high contrast" as you called it, is pretty much inevitable, unless you have a pro cam with 1/3 inch CCDs, so depending on how much detail you want to see where, you can expose for the lights, or for the surrounding areas, but you wont get a perfect exposure for both, only one at a time. Also, be aware that high levels of gain will increase noise. Hope this helps!
